The Problem: A World Broken from Within
We live in a world that is not merely fractured externally—it is broken from the inside out.
Sin is not just what we do; it’s the condition we face once the innocence of childhood is lost. A spiritual death passed down since Eden. We are estranged from our Maker—dulled by darkness, enslaved to self, and blind to glory.
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23, ESV)
We don’t just need repair. We need rebirth.
The Solution: The Cross and the Resurrection
God did not remain distant in our brokenness. He came—wrapped in flesh, full of truth and grace. Jesus Christ walked toward the cross, carrying more than wood. He carried our guilt, our shame, our sentence. He died—not only to forgive sin, but to destroy its hold. And He rose—that we too might rise.
“We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead... we too might walk in newness of life.” (Romans 6:4, ESV)
The Response: Obedient Faith
Salvation is not inherited. It is not absorbed. It is entered—by obedient, trusting faith.
“So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17, ESV)
True faith is not passive. It hears. It believes. It turns. It confesses. It obeys. It follows.
Hear the Gospel. God has spoken. And in Christ, His voice calls to you.
Believe in Jesus
“Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:16, ESV)
Faith is not mere agreement. It is trust embodied. Faith believes in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Faith believes in the Word. The Cross. The empty tomb.
Repent of Sin
“Now he commands all people everywhere to repent.” (Acts 17:30, ESV)
Repentance is more than an apology. It is a catastrophic shift—a death to self, and a turn toward the things of God. It is the rejection of every counterfeit and the pursuit of eternity.
Confess Jesus as Lord
“If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart… you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9, ESV)
To confess is to align yourself publicly with Christ—to say, "He is King. I am His."
Be Baptized
“And now why do you wait? Rise and be baptized and wash away your sins, calling on his name.” (Acts 22:16, ESV)
Baptism is not an empty ritual. It is the gospel in water—a burial, a resurrection, a birth.
Baptism: The Beginning of Becoming
Transformation doesn’t begin with behavior. It begins with burial.
In baptism, we die—to sin, to self, to the old life.We rise—forgiven, filled, adopted.
“For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ.” (Galatians 3:27, ESV)
Baptism is not the finish line. It is the starting point. It is where the flame first catches. Where the Spirit comes to dwell. Where transformation becomes possible.
The Life That Follows: Die Daily, Rise Forever
“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” (Luke 9:23, ESV)
“Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.” (Revelation 2:10, ESV)
This is not a one-time decision. This is a daily death and resurrection.
We surrender our false selves. We live in His Word. We walk by His Spirit. We grow, we stumble, we rise again. And one day, when our last breath comes, we will rise—not just spiritually, but bodily—to be with Him forever.
The Invitation: Say Yes to the Gospel
If you have never been baptized, this is not a call to ritual. It is a summons to life.
Hear. Believe. Repent. Confess. Be baptized. Die daily. Rise forever.
Lay down the weight of your past. Enter the waters. Rise forgiven, filled, and free.
Let this be your first step towards a new life. Let this be the fire’s beginning.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.” (2 Corinthians 5:17, ESV)
